Call to Artists: Kolaj Institute Solo Residencies
The mission of Kolaj Institute is to support artists, curators, and writers who seek to study, document, and disseminate ideas that deepen our understanding of collage as a medium, a genre, a community, and a 21st century movement. We operate a number of initiatives meant to bring together community, investigate critical issues, and raise collage’s standing in the art world.
Kolaj Institute’s solo residencies in New Orleans are designed to provide artists, curators, and writers with dedicated time and space to work on a project.

Prairie Ronde Artist Residency
We’re looking for individuals who are highly independent, engaged and curious. We do not limit our residency to any specific medium but rather are looking for diverse artists who can creatively interact with The Mill.
We host three sessions annually and accept 2 – 4 residents per session. Accepted residents receive a stipend of $2,000 for 5 – 6 weeks, a $500 travel grant and private housing. We work with residents to share their work with the community (a gallery show, public workshop or other).

Individual writers seeking freedom from distraction and hassle-free accommodations will find Prospect Street ideal.
Residencies include a private bedroom/studio with ensuite full bath, nightly dinners prepared by Chef Amy, and access to the library, and other spaces of the house, plus on-site laundry, wi-fi, and printer. Residents also enjoy access to the terraces, porches and gardens on the house grounds as well as the village, local trails, and the Bennington College campus all within walking distance.

NEST Art Residency (ICA Yerevan) is developed as an open cross-functional network of people, ideas, and desires. Its Education, Project, and Theory Labs provide a comprehensive set of resources, facilities, and tools for understanding and operating in the contemporary art scene in Armenia and the wider global art contexts. Offering on-demand services in all stages of multiscale and multi-format project production Project Lab delivers consulting, guidance, creative management assistance, and production.

Residencia Corazón
Residencia Corazón is an independent, artist-run residency in La
Plata, Argentina—a home for artists since 2006. The program welcomes visual
artists, writers, curators, and creative researchers from around the
world for one- to three-month residencies. Each stay is fully personalized, and fees range from $800 to $1,500 per month.

Hangar / Center of Artistic Research
The Residency program at Hangar encourages dialogue, exchange and experimentation. The program is non-prescriptive and process-based, allowing visiting artists to develop projects in response to their new environment or to conduct research benefiting from Lisbon’s resources.

My Big Idea Scholarships for Women
These Scholarships are designed for women who have a BIG IDEA and need seed funding to develop, test, or validate it. It is known how hard it is to get a new business or social enterprise off the ground. Often, what makes the difference is having the time, resources, and support to bring an idea to life. Global Sisters wants to back you at this pivotal moment — the moment that can make or break a brilliant idea. At the end of 2026, all Scholars will have the opportunity to showcase their BIG IDEAS to Global Sisters funders and corporate partners — opening doors to further support, investment, and visibility. An untied $10,000 grant to use in any way that helps bring your idea to life will be awarded.

The National Book Critics Circle Emerging Critics Program
The NBCC Emerging Critics Program fosters critical dialogue and enrichment within a small cohort of critics. This fellowship includes a mentorship program, with opportunities to publish a reviews during the course of the fellowship year.

The BRIClab: Film + TV residency
The BRIClab: Film + TV residency track incubates innovative and ambitious documentary filmmakers working on short form, episodic, or feature length non-fiction films. Three residencies will be awarded to create opportunities for emerging to mid-career filmmakers. We will award 3 residencies for the 2025-26 cycle.

PACIFIC JURISDICTIONS ARTIST FUND
The 2026 Pacific Jurisdictions Artist Fund (PJAF) is a community-rooted, artist-centered fund co-designed with artists and cultural leaders across American Samoa, Guam, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI). PJAF honors artists as essential culture bearers — preserving language, lineage, land-based knowledge, and strengthening community wellness and belonging. This year is the second round of the program. There will be one more round of the program in 2027. You are eligible if you: Are 18 years or older; Are an individual artist, culture bearer, or tradition keeper; Currently reside in American Samoa, Guam, or CNM; Can attend required gatherings.

The Blackstone Publishing Novel Initiative
The Black List and Blackstone Publishing have announced The Blackstone Publishing Novel Initiative, a new partnership to identify an unpublished manuscript to enter into a $25,000 publishing deal.
This program is open to manuscripts in all genres, but Blackstone is particularly interested in genres that elevate familiar themes from fresh, compelling perspectives, with a particular emphasis on thrillers, high-concept mysteries and romances, and horror stories. The Black List will assist Blackstone Publishing in identifying a shortlist of outstanding manuscripts through a submission period on blcklst.com from November 20, 2025 until June 9, 2026.
All submissions must have received at least one evaluation while being hosted on blcklst.com. Once a manuscript has received an evaluation, it can be submitted to any partnership for which it is eligible at no additional cost.

BOAPS–Summer 2026: Grants, Exhibition, Publication, Promotion, Sales, Career Boost
Ready to showcase your art internationally and receive cash grants? BOAPS (Summer 2026 Edition) invites visual artists worldwide, working in any medium, to submit their strongest works with complete creative freedom. This seasonal open call offers $10,000 CAD in annual cash grants and exclusive awards, along with solo and group exhibitions, publication in catalogues and art magazines, global promotion, sales exposure through Biafarin and Artsy, audience engagement and feedback, editorial reviews, and professional recognition designed to support artistic growth and international visibility.

The Elaine and Alexandre Rosenberg Fellowship
The Elaine and Alexandre Rosenberg Fellowship in the Archives, Library, and Research Collections (ALRC) Department at The Museum of Modern Art will provide a unique opportunity to learn about modern and contemporary art, important training in the fields of archives, library, and information science; research; and Museum administration. The Fellow will participate in a variety of activities within a large, active research center, including assisting with the daily operation of the reading rooms; contributing to departmental initiatives, undertaking collections preservation and management; and performing original research in the Paul Rosenberg Archives. This is a two-year fellowship, expected to commence in September 2026.

Studio Museum in Harlem x Museum of Modern Art Museum Fellowship
This year, four Curatorial and two Public Programming fellows will be selected to spend one year at each museum, rotating to the partner institution after their first year until the completion of the two-year program.
Curatorial and Public Programming fellows will work within their departments to gain hands-on experience and guidance in a museum setting. Each fellowship will be tailored to the department’s needs at each institution.
Fellows will receive a salary, an annual housing allowance, benefits, and paid vacation time, in addition to travel expenses for one research trip related to their field of interest.

Academy of American Poets – James Laughlin Award
The winning poet receives $5,000, an all-expenses-paid weeklong residency in Miami Beach, and distribution of their book to approximately 1,000 Academy of American Poets members.

International Creator Residency Program 2027
The “International Creator Residency Program” is a 3-month residency program for creators working in the fields of visual arts, design and architecture. We offer financial support to allow creators to develop and present new works and ideas in Tokyo.

The Ryan Hudak LGBTQ+ Dramatic Writing Award - For New York State Playwrights or Screenwriters
This is an $8,000 cash grant to be awarded to one (1) New York State-based playwright or screenwriter, including those who live within the five boroughs of New York City, who self-identifies as LGBTQ+. Acceptable forms of playwriting or screenwriting include stage plays, screenplays, teleplays, libretti, radioplays, audiodramas, puppet plays, and experimental web series. While librettists may apply, audiotapes are not eligible.

Spring $1,800 Innovate Grants for Art + Photo
Innovate Grant awards two $1,800 grants each quarter to one visual artist and one photographer. In addition, 18 applicants will receive honorable mentions, be featured on the website, and join a growing community. International artists and photographers working in any medium are eligible. All applicants retain the right to the work they submit.

Remuseum and the Doris Duke Foundation – The Vanguard Award/Accelerator for Innovative Arts Leaders
The $100,000 annual award will recognize up to 10 leaders who are exploring innovative ways to strengthen arts institutions, and a year-long accelerator (in partnership with MIT) will help them refine, implement, and evaluate those ideas.

Media Projects - For Podcasters, Filmmakers & Radio Programs
This opportunity supports the development and production of engaging radio programs, podcasts, and creative documentary films centered on the humanities—up to $75,000 for development awards and $700,000 for production awards.

The Investing in Artists: Tools & Equipment Program - For Individual Craft Artists
This program will award grants of $1,000–$5,000 to individual craft artists to purchase artistic tools and equipment that support their ability to make object-based work. This program is open to individual craft artists, folk and traditional artists, and craftspeople in the United States and its Territories. Eligible applicants must reside full-time in Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, or Virginia.

PACC — AAMC Foundation Fellowship
If you have 3–5 years of curatorial experience and face barriers to professional advancement, this fully sponsored 10-month program was designed for you. Fellows receive mentorship, a peer cohort, access to the 2027 Art Curators Conference, and two years of AAMC Foundation membership. All travel and accommodation are covered.

The Color Network's Monthly Microgrants - For Ceramics Artists
The Color Network is pleased to offer two (2) grants of $100 per month for artists of color working in ceramics. 2026–2027 Powerhouse Arts Artist-in-Residence (AiR) program
We’re selecting three early-career New York City–based artists for a fully supported, six-month residency focused on ambitious, fabrication-driven work across print, ceramics, textiles, public art, and digital print. AiR is designed for artists at a pivotal stage in their practice, regardless of age, who are interested in expanding their work through fabrication and collaboration. Priority is given to artists who have not yet had sustained access to fabrication resources, institutional opportunities, or gallery representation, and for whom this residency could have a meaningful impact on the development of their practice.

Exploratorium – Artist-in-Residence Program
Artists receive a $15,000 annual stipend, support for travel, project management and financial support for residency projects, and access to Exploratorium facilities and staff expertise. The application fee is $35.

Vision Maker Media's Creative Shorts Fellowship - For Emerging Native Filmmakers
This opportunity supports Emerging Native filmmakers to produce a short film: documentary, drama, experimental, or animation piece; and supports a mentorship with a career professional film producer or director. Emerging Native filmmakers find their own mentor for their project. Film professionals, Native or non-Native, may also submit a proposal—following criteria and eligibility—to mentor an Emerging Native filmmaker in the production of that emerging filmmaker’s short film. Applicants must choose their mentor prior to applying and film professionals must choose their mentee prior to applying. Topic ideas may be about Native cultures, values, histories, contemporary life, environmental justice, social justice, youth, elders, and/or Native empowerment. Up to $25,000 will be awarded.

The Power The Future Fellowship - For Young Creatives
This is an 11 month program beginning August 11th, 2026 to June, 11th 2027 created through a partnership between the Hip-Hop Education Center and the National Grid Foundation. The fellowship supports young creatives ages 18–26 who are passionate about Hip-Hop culture, creativity, technology, and making a difference in their communities. Through this program, participants will collaborate with artists, engineers, educators, and mentors while building projects that connect Hip-Hop and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). Together, you will explore how creativity, culture, and innovation can power new pathways for the future. Selected fellows will receive a $3,000 stipend.

The New Visions Award - For An Unpublished Native/Indigenous or Writer of Color
This Award is given biennially to an unpublished writer of color or a Native/Indigenous writer for a middle-grade or young-adult manuscript. Novel and graphic novel manuscripts may be fiction, narrative non-fiction, or works in verse for middle grade readers ages 8 to 12 and young adult readers ages 12 to 18. Manuscripts should address the needs of children and teens of color or Indigenous children and teens by providing stories they can identify with and relate to, and that promote greater understanding of one another. Themes relating to different family structures, gender identity, LGBTQ+ communities, or disabilities are also of interest. The winners receive a standard publication contract, including Lee & Low Books’ basic royalties and an advance of $15,000.

The 2026 Project Grants for Women & Nonbinary Photographers
These grants are open to women, nonbinary, transgender, and intersex documentary photographers of any nationality. Central to Women Photograph’s mission is to be inclusive of and support work from photographers who represent a diverse range of identities, geographies, and experiences. You do not need to be a member of Women Photograph to apply. Three $10,000 grants will support photography projects — either new or in-progress — from visual journalists working in a documentary capacity.

The Vanguard Arts Fund - For Playwrights
This opportunity provides developmental support to diverse teams of artists interested in creating theatrical works. They are interested in supporting the development of new full-length plays and musicals and reimagining pre-existing stories. They emphasize process over product and will work to create an environment in which you can do your best work. Vanguard is proud to have supported many projects led by BIPOC generative artists and encourage artists of every background to submit their work to them. Most projects are funded between $10,000 and $20,000, which includes payment for creatives, actors, housing, and transportation.

2025-26 LIVING TRADITIONS: FOLK ART AND BEYOND GRANT
This program celebrates and invests in the cultural practices and creative expressions that connect communities across the Creative West region. Living traditions are cultural practices rooted in community life—passed down through generations, adapted over time, and continually reimagined to meet the needs of the present. They encompass—but are not limited to—folk and traditional arts, craft, music, dance, foodways, oral traditions, storytelling, spiritual practices, and the everyday creative expressions that embody identity, belonging, and resilience. This grant program supports projects that honor, share, and transmit these traditions in ways that strengthen community bonds, foster intergenerational connection, and expand access to cultural expression.

AlterWork Studios Residency Program
This residency was designed to allow emerging contemporary artists time and space to create new work exploring their practice. Artists may submit a proposal of how they intend to utilize the space as a studio to create new work or a specific project. The residency will culminate in a solo closing reception. The cost to the artist is $400 per month and a $200 non-refundable administration fee.

CFEVA Visual Artist Fellowship
The Visual Artist Fellowship is designed to help artists in the Philadelphia Region reach new levels in their career. Artists will be asked to demonstrate a vision for the next stage of their professional or artistic practice and a clear plan for CFEVA’s proposed role in reaching it. Artists will be selected by an independent Board of Artistic Advisors based on the merit of their artwork and a demonstrated ability to reach stated goals. Artists will be selected to receive a full range of career support during the two-year Fellowship period

Wassaic Project 2027 Artist Residencies
Wassaic Project invites applications for both summer and winter residencies on-site in Wassaic, New York. Residencies are offered on a sliding scale from $0 to $900. Most of the cost is covered by the generous support of donors and grants, but Wassaic Project recommends a contribution of $900 per session to those who are able to contribute. There is a $25 application fee (a waiver may be available).

Scribe Video Performance Open Call
Scribe Video Center is looking for performing artists for the 2026 Street Movies! Series.

2027 Artist Residency Open Call
Summer residents receive 24-hour access to an adaptable, semi-private, 200–300 square foot studios in the historic Luther Barn. Accommodations include a private bedroom in a shared house, complete with common spaces, 1–2 full bathrooms, and a kitchen (artists participating in our Family Residency will receive a private house). Artists-in-residence also have access to our print shop and wood shop. Monthly programming includes open studios, group studio visits with our embedded critics, Ghost of a Dream, and one-on-one studio visits and artist talks with 2–3 creative professionals, our Director of Artistic Programming, and WP staff.

Light Work Artist-in-Residence Program
The nonprofit photography organization invites 12–15 artists to Syracuse, New York, to devote one month to creative projects every year. The residency includes a $5,000 stipend, a furnished artist apartment, 24-hour access to facilities, staff support, and more. The application fee is $10.

Queer|Art – Illuminations Grant for Black Trans Women Visual Artists
The annual $10,000 grant provides critical support to Black trans women whose work has often been under-recognized in the visual art field. This year, a $1,250 award will also be granted to four distinguished finalists.

Pine Meadow Ranch Center for Arts & Agriculture Residencies
Pine Meadow Ranch Center for Arts and Agriculture (PMRCAA) offers two- and four-week residencies from March to mid-November. Two to four residents share a large, historic home on the ranch property, and each is assigned their own private studio. Since 2018, the program has been supporting artists, scientists, writers and researchers from a variety of fields and with a range of experience levels, and practitioners in a wide range of disciplines are invited to apply. The 2027 theme is “process and material.”

Asian Americans Art Alliance – A4 Arts Fund
Designed for organizations with annual budgets of under $500,000, the fund offers $10,000 and $15,000 general operating grants to support AAPI arts and cultural organizations.

Located on ninety acres of woodland in Knoxville, Tennessee, this program provides lodging in five historic log cabins, access to new, purpose-built studio spaces, and awards artists with stipends to support the creation of new work.

Hyundai Motor Group–The 7th VH AWARD
A global award for emerging media artists engaging with the context of Asia, featuring production grants, an online residency with Ars Electronica, and global exhibitions. This 7th edition introduces a new “Honorary Mention” category and awards the Grand Prix winner an additional $30,000 grant.

Peters Valley School of Craft Residency
This program is open to artists working in blacksmithing, ceramics, fibers, jewelry and fine metals, wood, and printmaking. Residents receive a $600 or $900 stipend to work in fully equipped studios for two or three weeks. Housing is included. There is a $10 application fee.

James Renwick Alliance for Craft – Chrysalis Award
An emerging artist in ceramics will receive a $5,000 unrestricted award, a one-year JRACraft membership, and the opportunity to present their work at a JRACraft event.

The Bennett Prize – 2026/2027 Award Cycle
For women figurative realist painters. The grand prize winner receives $75,000 and a solo exhibition. The first runner-up receives $10,000. A five-person jury will select 10 finalists to be featured in a group exhibition that will travel the US. The application fee is $50.
